Inundation in 27 Neighborhoods in Jakarta Has Completely Receded

The Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) reported that the inundation caused by the overflow of the Ciliwung River that occurred in some locations had completely receded at 2 PM.

Puddles have completely receded

Previously, it was recorded that 27 RTs were inundated at 9 AM then reduced to 11 out of the 30,470 RTs at 12 PM, or 0.036 percent in Jakarta. The height of the puddle was more than 40 centimeters.

"Puddles have completely receded," expressed Jakarta BPBD's Center for Disaster Data and Information (Pusdatin) Head Mohammad Insaf, Tuesday (6/7).

He added the inundation was indeed targeted to recede in a short time. Therefore, joint personnel had been alerted in the field, namely SDA Agency, BPBD Quick Reaction Team, Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Agency, and Urban Village PPSU.

"Nobody has evacuated so far," he closed.
