The South Jakarta administration is going to kick off the second phase of the Jumat Beli Lokal (Friday Buy Local) program on June 20, 2022, for two weeks.

"I've instructed the six supporting sub-agencies to immediately send a catalog of assisted Jakpreneur products that are participating in the event to be input via Tokopedia marketplace page no later than June 13," expressed South Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant Mukhlisin, Wednesday (6/8).

South Jakarta PPKUKM) Sub-agency's Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises Division Head Zulkarnain Nasution explained the JBL event would be held offline at the South Jakarta Mayor's office and online in collaboration with Tokopedia.

It would be enlivened by 400 Jakpreneurs from 10 sub-districts and six sub-agencies.

"Each sub-district will bring 30 Jakpreneurs and also other Jakpreneurs from the KPKP, Nakertransgi, PPKUKM, PPAP, Parekraf, as well as Social and Dektranasda sub-agencies," he stated.

By so, he was optimistic that the sale of Jakpeneurs' superior products including fashion, culinary, and handicrafts could earn a turnover of around Rp 400 million.

"From the first event last January 2022 participated by 300 participants, we managed to collect a turnover of Rp 203 million," he closed.
