Access Road Project to Cilangkap Cemetery Completed

The construction of an access road to the Cilangkap Public Cemetery (TPU), East Jakarta, which began in April, has now been completed. With a length of 70 meters and a width of 2.5 meters, the access road makes it easier for ambulances to enter the cemetery.

Previously, the access road was very narrow. Thus, we built a new access road next to the Flamboyan Park

East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency's Green Belt and Cemetery Section Head Atang Setiawan mentioned the access road to TPU Cilangkap was built by excavating and compacting the soil before installing concrete blocks.

"Previously, the access road was very narrow. Thus, we built a new access road next to the Flamboyan Park," he said, Thursday (6/9).

His side is currently cutting down rambutan and mango trees which are in the middle of the road in the cemetery area.

"This will make it easier for an ambulance to get to the center of the cemetery," he conveyed.
