According to him, foreigners who live in Jakarta and want to obtain e-KTP must have a Permanent Stay Permit Card (KITAP) and fulfill several requirements.

"This is just for their identity. The color of e-KTP for foreigners is orange, while for Indonesian citizens is blue," he stated.

Foreigners who wanted to apply for e-KTP were required to come to the Dukcapil office to take photos and verify documents, such as passports and KITAP/KITAS.

"The process of issuing e-KTP for foreigners takes 1x24 hours because it takes time to test the singularity," he conveyed.

Pavan Ashok Dalani (25), a foreigner from Singapore who lives in Kelapa Gading Sub-district said that he was happy to propose an e-KTP at North Jakarta Sub-agency Office because the service was fast, friendly, and comfortable.

"I will stay for a long time in Indonesia. For the issuance, I was told that it would take 1x24 hours and no later than two days," he explained.
