61,780 Thousands People Flocked to Ancol

People from and outside Jakarta began to pack Ancol which is one of favorite recreational sites, with the whole family to enjoy the long Christmas and New Year holidays. Until 2 PM, Ancol management recorded various rides crowded by 61,780 thousands people.

Until this afternoon, the number continues to increase about Rp 80 thousand

Metty Yan Harahap, spokeswoman for PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol, public interest remains high, even though there are no special events during Christmas. On holidays or weekends, the number of visitors is only 35-40 thousand, and now reaches more than 60 thousand.

"Until this afternoon, the number continues to increase about Rp 80 thousand," she expressed, Thursday (12/25).

Of the 61,780 visitors, she stated most people enjoy the beach atmosphere. It followed by Dunia Fantasi with 12,890 visitors, Atlantis Water Adventure with 4,899 visitors, and Ocean Deep Sea with 5,900 visitors.

Endro Prasetyo (35), one of visitors from Bintaro, South Jakarta, admitted he used the holiday moment for vacation with family in Ancol. "But the beach is dirty and we're not comfortable while swimming," he complained.

He hoped the Ancol Management can more readily anticipate trash produced by visitors to create a clean beach and comfortable for visitors
