TMII Launches Educative Ride, Sky World

To provide education and entertainment about the world of space, the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, launched a new ride. The ride named Sky World stood atop a 2.2-hectare wide land makes the space as a special theme and became the first and only one in Indonesia, even in Southeast Asia.

"Sky World has many children's games arena and family entertainment. There are specific thematic elements, namely the space. In the Sky World, there are a variety of attractions and rides that are recreational and entertain the whole family," said TMII Director, Bambang Parikesit, during the inauguration of Sky World construction, Monday (11/10).

According to him, all this time, children in Jakarta and its surroundings area are very dreaming an educative entertainment venue. The Sky World is hoped to make children happy and understand about space. In addition, it also has more creative thinking.

Meanwhile, Director of PT Rekreasindo Global Utama, Ari Buchori Darmansyah stated such construction is targeted to finish for 14 months. Even, he also expects all construction could already finish on October 28, 2015.

"Sky World is a major gateway for students to learn about space. Because there is an education element, about space, space and universe. We involve the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN) and Boscha which have discovered space object. The findings and observation results from both institutions, we show in the Sky World," he uttered.
