Pemprov DKI Atur Lalu Lintas di Sekitar JIS Saat Kegiatan Malam Puncak Jakarta Hajatan ke-495

Dishub Diverts Traffic around JIS during the Peak of Jakarta Hajatan

The Jakarta Government arranges traffic around the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) during the peak of the Jakarta Hajatan event to ensure the traffic flow around JIS is running well.

Those who are allowed to pass through those points are public vehicles, vehicles owned by residents who live near JIS, as well as VIP and VVIP vehicles

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head Syafrin Liputo mentioned that road closure will be implemented in three locations on Saturday (6/25) from 14:00 to 21:00.

The road closure will be implemented in three locations, as follows:

1. Railroad crossing on Jalan Sunter Permai Raya - Jalan RE Martadinata

2. Intersection of Jalan Sunter Permai Raya – Jalan Bisma Raya

3. Intersection of Jalan Danau Sunter Barat – Jalan Danau Sunter Utara

"Personnel will be on guard at the locations. Those who are allowed to pass through those points are public vehicles, vehicles owned by residents who live near JIS, as well as VIP and VVIP vehicles. We urge people who already have tickets to watch the event to take public transportation," he said, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release, Friday (6/24).

It is because the area is expected to be crowded, other road users were urged to avoid those locations or choose another alternative route.

The Government had prepared 100 free buses at 12 pick-up points and would only stop at the destination point (JIS), not stopping at several bus stops like the existing routes.

In addition, public transport users could also take the Transjakarta bus to JIS at a regular fare.

Nevertheless, people were expected to wear masks and comply with health protocols during the event to minimize the COVID-19 transmission.

For information, the Jakarta Hajatan event can be watched on CNN Indonesia TV or live streaming via the Jakarta Government's Youtube account and Detiknetwork website.
