JNF, Traffic Diversion Applied

Traffic Directorate of Metro Jaya Police will conduct the traffic diversion for the Jakarta Night Festival (JNF). The diversion will start on Wednesday (12/31) around Dukuh Atas, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and Monas area from 7 PM until Thursday (1/1) at 1 AM.

The diversion is applied gradually from 4 PM on fast lane

"We do traffic diversion at the Jakarta Night Festival event on New Year's Eve," said AKBP Budyanto, Jakarta Police officer on Tuesday (30/12).

The traffic diversion will be applied as the vehicle from Hayam Wuruk direction that will go to Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat will be diverted to Jalan Juanda through Pasar Baru and Jalan Gunung Sahari while at the Harmoni or to Pejambon through Tugu Tani and so on.

Then, the vehicle from Semanggi direction that will go to Bundaran HI will be diverted left at Dukuh Atas then directed to Tanah Abang or to the right to go to Menteng-Pasar Baru.

"The diversion is applied gradually from 4 PM on fast lane. Then we close the slow lane 1 hour later," he stated.

The traffic will go back to normal at 2 AM on Thursday (1/1). "The personnel will guard several points such as Transjakarta lane and so on," he disclosed.
