Tebet Eco Park Temporary Closure Extended

The Jakarta Parks and City Forest Agency on Monday (7/4) extended the temporary closure of the Tebet Ecopark, Tebet, South Jakarta. It is for maintenance and repair of the park facility that is still ongoing.

Data and Information Center (Pusdatin) Head Ivan Murcahyo stated that the plantation of the ornamental plants and grass is currently ongoing inside the Eco Park, precisely around the Thematic Garden and Community Lawn zones. Including repairs to the deck and emergency stairwell area on Link Bridge.

"Workers also carry out the naturalization of rivers and filtering solid waste in river flows," he continued.

Tebet Eco Park is Temporarily Closed for Maintenance

He added the construction of a Pet Park zone is seen underway at the Southern Park and pond near the Wetland Boardwalk zone. The park would have more informative signs or signage.

"The park carries the concept of connecting humans with nature. So, we call on all parties to participate in protecting the park environment after it is re-opened to the public," he closed.
