795,824 Residents in West Jakarta Have Booster Vaccinations

The West Jakarta Health Sub-agency has noted that as many as 795,824 or 47.89 percent out of the target set at 1,600,000 people aged 18 to seniors in eight sub-districts have received booster vaccines until July 13, 2022.

Of the 795,824, 165,622 or 45,43 percent were from Cengkareng, 107,296 or 49.52 were from Grogol Petamburan, 99.992 or 39.92 percent were from Kalideres, 104,305 or 45.80 percent were from Kebon Jeruk.

Then 103,776 or 52.98 percent were from Kembangan, 87.803 or 34.46 percent were from Palmerah, 64.295 or 62.46 percent were from Taman Sari, and 62.735 or 41.58 were from Tambora.

To hit 90 percent of the total target, various efforts were being made, including outreach and promotions about the importance of boosters to residents, including collaboration with other agencies to provide services, such as the Police, national police, Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), clinics, and hospitals.

Then set up dynamic and static vaccine service posts, for instance in RW secretariats, malls, and other crowded locations. Meanwhile, static service posts are located in health centers, sub-district, and urban village offices.

"We will intensify it through door-to-door service," he closed.
