Dinkes Opens Booster Services in All Sub-district and Mayor Offices

The Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) has intensified booster shots in 44 sub-district offices and five mayor offices from today to July 15, 2022.

The purpose of this vaccination is to maintain public health and safety

The vaccination service with Pfizer, Moderna, and Sinovac types which are open from 8 AM to 12 PM is part of the effort to facilitate Dasawisma cadres in getting boosters.

Dinkes Head Widyastuti said that based on the data collected, 41,527 out of  76,115 Dasawisma cadres in Jakarta had yet to take booster.

Thus far, the Jakarta Child Protection and Empowerment and Population Control Agency (PPAPP) has urged them to immediately get vaccinated in the nearest vaccination center, including a health center.

She explained that sub-district and urban village heads could also summon and schedule Dasawisma cadres to take vaccinations in stages at the sub-district office.

"Predictably, 80,000 cadres will attend the Jakarta Menyapa event at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta on July 16, 2022," she explained, Wednesday (7/13).

Booster vaccination was the main requirement to attend the event. Her agency would open the vaccination during the event takes place at the West and East ramps of JIS starting from 10 AM to 6 PM.

There was currently a slight increase in deaths in Covid-19 cases in Jakarta in the past week. The average patient was over 40 with comorbidities and had not received a booster vaccination.

"The purpose of this vaccination is to maintain public health and safety," she closed.
