Be a Witness to Abnon Pageant Grand Final in Seribu Islands this Saturday

The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) is about to hold the Seribu Islands Abang-None (Abnon) pageant grand final at the Regency Plaza, Pramuka Island, which falls on Saturday (7/23).

Seribu Islands Regent Junaedi hoped that in the final, the finalists from outside the island, as well as mainland Jakarta, will compete for the win

"I believe that representatives from Seribu Islands will be able to win the grand final later," he expressed, Tuesday (7/19).

Seribu Islands Looking for Talented Youth at Abnon 2022

He added it was time for islanders to show off and become Abnon in their territory, to become tourism ambassadors considering that this year the Seribu Islands has entered its 20th anniversary.

"If the local son becomes Abnon, he will be more fluent in explaining the tourism and social potential of the Seribu Islands," he added.

Parekraf Sub-agency Head Puji Astuti explained that there would be as many as 10 pairs of finalists.

"Hope the participants from the islands will win this year's pageant Abnon. That's why the pattern of increasing personal capacity is generalized to other participants," he hoped.
