North Jakarta Administration plans to build an interactive park on the banks of Tubagus Angke River that across Jalan Kebun Pala, Pejagalan Urban Village, Penjaringan.

The park construction on the land as wide as four meters wide and two kilometers long is intended to prevent the residents to build illegal building at the area.
"Interactive park should be constructed immediately. Delaying construction means allowing people building illegal house or hut," said Yani Wahyu Purwoko, Penjaringan Sub-District Head, Friday (1/9).
JNF, Visitors Ruined the ParksPurwoko added, to build an interactive park, she hoped the support of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from private companies in North Jakarta.
"Currently, there is only one company that is willing to give the CSR. We hope the other companies to participate, because one company’s' CSR is not enough to build a two-kilometer park," added Purwoko.
Contacted separately, the North Jakarta Mayor, Rustam Effendi said, after the completion of concreting on Jalan Kebun Pala, the riverbanks must immediately be constructed an interactive park.
"We have warned people not to build illegal buildings due to disturbing the road," he uttered.
