23 Roads in North Jakarta Being Improved

The North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has started improving 23 roads spread across North Jakarta. Its improvement is targeted for completion in August 2022.

According to Ilham Raya, Sub-agency Head of North Jakarta Bina Marga, the improvement itself was divided into two zones, namely east from Koja, Cilincing, and Kelapa Gading sub-districts and west from Penjaringan, Pademangan, and Tanjung Priok sub-districts.
"10 roads are in the east zone and 13 roads are in the west zone," he expressed, Thursday (7/28).

As for the 13 roads in the west zone, there were Jalan Kamal Stadion, Jalan Kerapu, Jalan Pademangan III Raya, Jalan Pademangan IV Gang 23, Jalan Sunter Muara I, and Jalan Sunter Muara III.
According to him, it was to follow up on the proposals from the Musrenbang in 208, 2019, and 2020. The work will only be realized in 2022, as there is a refocusing and reallocation of the City Budget (APBD) for handling the pandemic.
The timing of the start of the work varied at each location since last June. Technically, the road improvement elevated from the existing condition up to 25 centimeters using reinforced concrete material.
Until the third week of July 2022, the improvement of some roads had been completed, while the rest has been ongoing and in the process of being completed.
"Overall, the progress of the work is around 50 percent," he stated.
