Central Jakarta to Develop Jakarta's Traditional Souvenir Centers in Eight Sub-districts

The Central Jakarta administration is about to prepare Jakarta's traditional souvenir centers in several temporary locations (loksem) or coached locations (lokbin) in each sub-district.

Central Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting said his party would prepare space in lokbin and loksem spread over eight sub-districts specifically selling Jakarta's traditional souvenirs.

"This is done because many tourists who visit Jakarta have difficulty finding places that sell souvenirs typical of Jakarta," he expressed, Friday (9/2).

He explained that special business space selling various types of souvenirs typical of Jakarta will be developed in eight sub-districts considering its location is close to the community," he explained.

Therefore, the Central Jakarta administration would involve CSR to realize it.

"We're continuing to finalize the plan thus we can realize them soon," he stated.
