The Jakarta Tourism and Economy Creative Agency (Disparekraf) is about to hold the 2022 Jakarta Marathon on October 16, 2022.
"This is the 9th marathon event since 2013. I hope the event is smooth and successful," expressed Disparekraf Head Andhika Permata, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Saturday (8/13).

Jakarta Marathon Chairman Saptra Nirwandar added it is collaborative work with the government, private sector, community, and academia.
“Consistency and commitment from all parties, especially the support from the central and regional governments, is a key factor in the sustainability of an international event. Of course, the Pentahelix orchestration to academia, community, private sector or sponsors and the media need to collaborate," he added.
Further, Inspiro Jakarta Marathon Organizer CEO Ndang Mawardi uttered the theme 'Reborn' at this year's Jakarta Marathon was chosen by the ABBOTTWMM Age Ranking Group.
"The Reborn theme becomes even stronger when starting this year where the #JakartaMarathon was chosen as the only one in Indonesia by the ABBOTTWMM Age Ranking Group thus Indonesian runners no longer have to bother to get ranking qualifications in overseas marathon events," he explained.
It also optimizes talent with special needs. In addition, students of Trilogy University also designed several works that were used as uniforms and souvenirs for the event.
According to Arissetyanto Nugroho, Chairman of the Indonesian Education Foundation, Trilogy University also provides scholarships for outstanding Indonesian athletes to study at the campus.
As for the information, Jakarta Marathon is the only activity held in Indonesia with routes starting from the GBK Area, Semanggi, Gambir - Monas Region, Kota Tua, Passer Baroe, Cathedral Church, Istiqlal Mosque.

It is also in line with Jakarta as Chair Urban 20 which is one of the Engagement Groups of the G20 Indonesia Presidency. So, it also strengthens Jakarta's positioning as a Global City.
