Penebangan Pohon Harus Izin dari PTSP

Tree Logging Must Go Through PTSP Permission

Starting this year, the tree logging process must first go through permission from the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP). This is because there should be a review and reason prior to tree logging. If it is violated, the logging permission will be refused.

The first side that will cut down trees, should file permit in urban village and sub-district

According to East Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department, Mimi Racmiati disclosed earlier, the tree logging permission was from her sub-department. But this year, it must be through PTSP and applies to trees in the parks or lanes or home yards.

"The first side that will cut down trees, should file permission in urban village and sub-district. Afterwards, they have to process it in the PTSP office. PTSP officers then do a review in the field," she explained, Monday (1/19).

She furthered after the review has been done, the officers will observe and ask the reason for tree logging toward the tree owner. "For example, the tree was cut down because it has been disturbing and causing the stores in the front deserted from buyers. Surely, we won't give permission if we find the case like that, because it would interfere with the aesthetic," she expressed.

To anticipate fallen trees, this year, the Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department plans to prune 2,000 trees on Jalan Kolonel Sugiyono, Jalan Basuki Rahmat, Jalan Kayu Putih, and Jalan Radin Inten.
