Dekranasda Wins Various Awards at 2022 Nusa Craft Exhibition

The Jakarta National Handicrafts Council (Dekranasda) won several awards at the Nusa Craft Exhibition in 2022, which was held from September 21 to 25, 2022, in Hall A of the Jakarta Convention Center.

Jakarta Industry Trade Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Agency Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said, with the theme of the activity, 'The Spirit of Survival of Competitive Craftsmen', was expected to be one of the signals for the revival of the Indonesian craft industry.

"We express our gratitude for the support and enthusiasm of the craftsmen in this event. We hope that this exhibition can encourage economic growth and the expansion of the Indonesian handicraft market," she expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Wednesday (9/28).

She went on to say that the national-scale exhibition is held annually by the National Crafts Council as a commitment to preserving and developing Indonesian handicraft products.

In the exhibition, the Jakarta Dekranasda managed to get awards in several categories. The award was handed over directly by Mrs. Elisa Tjandra Tohir as Chair of Dekranasda Funding Division to Mrs. Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo and representing Mrs. Fery Farhati as Chair of Jakarta Dekranasda.
