Good News, Samsat in Jakarta is Now Open Until Saturday

The Jakarta administration has improved a service day at the main Vehicle Document Registration Center (Samsat) office on Saturday which began to be implemented on October 22, 2022.

We will open the service from 8 AM to 12 PM

Jakarta Regional Income Agency (Bapenda) Head, Lusana Herawati said that the additional hours of service on Saturday at the five main Samsat offices were aimed at providing maximum Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) services for Jakarta residents.

"Many residents have free time on weekends to pay motor vehicle taxes to the Samsat office. We will open the service from 8 AM to 12 PM," she expressed, Sunday (10/23).

She hoped that residents could freely and easily pay their motor vehicle tax obligations by increasing service days at the five main Samsat offices and taking advantage of local tax incentives as stated in the Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency Head's Decree number 1588/2022 on the Elimination of Regional Tax Administration Sanctions.

"Local tax incentives, namely administrative sanctions on interest arising from late payments of taxes owed past the due date of payment, will be removed from September 15 to December 15," she stated.
