IIBF 2022 at JICC Attracts Many Book Lovers

The 2022 Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) in Hall B Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Wednesday (11/8) to Sunday (11/13), is enthusiastically welcomed by book lovers. They seemed to flock to the exhibition initiated by the Indonesian Publishers Association (Ikapi) together with the Villages, Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration Ministry, as well as Jakarta Provincial Government.
As stated by a college student from a private university in Depok, Lisna Rustin Andari (22) admitted that she came to IBF 2022 looking for book references for her thesis.

Unlike Lisna, Putri Anita (33), a resident of RW 03, Slipi Urban Village, West Jakarta admitted that she came with her two children to look for books specifically for children.
"I want to cultivate children's interest in reading so they are not addicted to gadgets," she expressed.
IIBF 2022 Committee Chairperson, Wahyu Rinanto targets 25,000 visitors every day, either in person or online at Shopee's Lokapasar.
To attract visitors, he also held various activities, ranging from discussions, writers' meetings, seminars, and workshops, as well as competitions for children.
