The Indonesian Publishers Association (Ikapi) again holds the Indonesia International Book Fair (IIBF) 2022 at Hall B Jakarta Convention Center. The event, which is held from November 9 to 13, was supported by the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration and Transmigration, as well as Jakarta Provincial Government.
IIBF 2022 Committee Chairman, Wahyu Rinanto said the 42nd book exhibition is also held online at Lokapasar Shoppe and is attended by 80 publishers from all over Indonesia. It was officially opened by Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Minister, Halim Iskandar, Wednesday (11/9).

"This exhibition is a meeting place for literacy and communication institutions between publishers and book lovers," he stated.
Ikapi Chairman, Arya Hilman added that the exhibition exists as the most important symbol of progress and civilization, which aims to spread information through books to the whole world.
"In this exhibition, we have a crazy zone that provides 6,000 titles, 500,000 copies of quality books from within and outside the country," he explained.
As for the information, The IIBF 2022 opening was filled with the awarding of the Ikapi Awards 2022 to Ary Nilandari for the Writer of The Years category. Then for the Book Of The Years category, namely the book titled Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori, the Rookie Of The Years category was won by Chandra Bientang, and the Literacy Promoter was won by Atalia Praratya.
