City Introduces Jakarta Smart City Concept to Ambassadors

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja 'Ahok' Purnama held dinner with Foreign Affairs Minister, Retno LP Marsudi and a number of Indonesia ambassadors who work all over the world in Balai Agung, City Hall, Monday (2/2).

"We surely invite the investors because we have the facilities to create a cooperation. Jakarta could be the promotion entrance," Basuki added.
Basuki also explained the Jakarta Provincial Government's effort about managing the capital such as flood handling, transportation management, and service reformation.
"Currently, we have built the Jakarta Smart City concept. All reports from citizens can be responded quickly by Jakarta Provincial Government officers," he uttered.
After giving speech, Head of UPT (technical management unit) Jakarta Smart City, Alberto Ali explained the Jakarta Smart City concept to the minister and all ambassadors.
Furthermore, Foreign Affairs Minister, Retno LP Marsudi appreciated the Jakarta Governor as a good figure. According to her, there is no one can be compared with Basuki in innovation or courage.
"If we usually read the news, we will know Mr. Ahok is very innovative and efficient, he produces innovation and development every day," she admitted.
she also appreciated the Jakarta Smart City concept that becomes one of flagship project of City Government.
Marsudi also hoped all ambassadors can cooperate with Jakarta Governor especially to promote the tourism destination as the direction of President Joko Widodo.
"Essentially, we came here to appreciate the dinner invitation," she uttered.
