DPRD Chairman Hopes Acting City Secretary Can Synergize with Acting Governor

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairperson, Prasetio Edi Marsudi hoped that Uus Kuswanto who was appointed as Acting City Secretary could work together with Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono.

Hopefully, they can synergize with each other in creating good performance results

According to him, the Acting City Secretary replacement from Marullah Matali to Uus Kuswanto is a common thing in order to refresh the organization in the executive branch.

"Hopefully, they can synergize with each other in creating good performance results," he expressed, after he attended the inauguration and swearing-in of Uus Kuswanto as Acting City Secretary to replace Marullah Matali who is believed to be Deputy Governor for Culture and Tourism, Friday (12/2) at City Hall.

With the inauguration of the middle-high leadership, he added, the synergy and coordination between the executive and the legislature would be more solid for the interests of the residents and the progress of Jakarta.

According to him, the inauguration and oath-taking of the two high-ranking senior officials referred to Home Minister Letter No. 100.2.1.6/8607/SJ on Approval for Appointment of Acting City Secretary, as well as Governor Decree No.1174/2022 on Appointment as Acting City Secretary.

"City Secretary appointment is in the Central Government, so we are waiting for a new assessment to be made later," he expressed.

Before the inauguration, this man who was born on January 21, 1973, last served as Assistant for People's Welfare Assistant.

This 1995 state-run Institute of Public Administration (IPDN) has also served as Urban Village Head of Kampung Rawa, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta (2005-2007), Head of Mangga Dua Selatan Urban Village, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta (2007-2010), Secretary of Sawah Besar Sub-district, Central Jakarta (2010-2012), Deputy Head of Menteng Sub-district, Central Jakarta (2012-2013), Vice Head of Kemayoran Sub-district, Central Jakarta (2013-2014).

While Division Head of West Jakarta Mental and Spiritual Education Bureau (2014-2015), Division Head of West Jakarta Government, 2015, Head of Kalideres Sub-district Sub-district (2015-2016), Head of West Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-agency (2016-2017).

Then, he served as Secretary of Jakarta Forestry Agency (2017-2019), Deputy Mayor of East Jakarta (2019-2020), and as Mayor of West Jakarta (2020-2021).
