Acting Governor Heru Visits Nine DPRD Fractions

Hopefully, cooperation, communication, good synergy, and harmony between the executive and the legislative can be maintained well

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono met with all ranks of Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Fraction, Monday (12/19). Together they visited the faction room accompanied by Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi.

Besides Heru, there were also Jakarta Culture and Tourism Division Deputy Governor, Marullah Matali; Acting City Secretary, Uus Kuswanto; Regional Office Head, M. Mawardi.

According to him, the visit was in order to strengthen partnerships and build good communication between the Jakarta Provincial Government as the executive and Jakarta DPRD as the legislative.

He was starting to visit the workroom belonging to DPRD Vice Chairwoman from PAN, Zita Anjani, and the workroom belonging to DPRD Vice Chairman from PKS, Khoirudin on the ninth floor, and then Democratic on the seventh floor.

They were then visiting the workroom belonging to PKB-PPP on the sixth floor, Nasdem on the fifth floor, PSI and Golkar on the fourth floor. Lastly, they were visiting Gerindra's workroom on the second floor.

He was conducting the suave, coordinating, and consolidating to accept the aspirations of the entire Jakarta DPRD faction, as well as discussing efforts to optimize various strategic work programs that are beneficial to the wider community.

"Alhamdulillah, I visit and meet them to know more closely. Thank you very much to the Chairman and Deputy Chairmen of the DPRD, as well as all the ranks of the Jakarta DPRD factions. Lots of suggestions and input, we will later discuss and follow up with the related agencies or SKPDs. Hopefully, cooperation, communication, good synergy, and harmony between the executive and the legislative can be maintained well," he exclaimed after the visit.

He hoped that the visit could strengthen the cooperation and synergy between the Jakarta Government and Jakarta DPRD proportionately and professionally that has been made so far. Thus, it could focus on and optimally implement various strategic work programs for city development that is inclusive, just, and sustainable.

Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi appreciated the Governor's effort to strengthen partnership between the legislative with the executive. As for DPRD Vice Chairwoman from PAN, Zita Anjani uttered that he is the first Jakarta Executive Leader to visit all the Jakarta DPRD factions.

In the meantime, Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairman from PKS, Khoirudin hoped that communication between the legislative and the executive could be established continuously for the interests of Jakarta residents.
