Acting Governor Receives Visit from Jakarta Branch PWNU

We send 300 athletes who will compete in the sport of soccer, badminton, martial art, and reading books

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, received the audience of the Jakarta Branch Nahdlatul Ulama Muslim (PWNU) in the main living room, Jakarta City Hall Building, Thursday (15/12).

Jakarta Branch PWNU Chairman, Samsul Ma'arif said that besides gathering, the meeting also discussed the readiness of his party following the NU Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) in Solo, Central Java, which falls from January 14 to 21, 2022.

"We send 300 athletes who will compete in the sport of soccer, badminton, martial art, and reading books," he expressed.

Rois Syuriah (Elder) for Jakarta Branch PWNU, Muhyidin Ishaq added the Acting Governor gave his support and directed his party to prepare well the contingent to be sent to the NU Porseni event in Solo.

"The directions given to us prepare well and carefully, especially all the needs and needs of athletes," he concluded.

In the event, there will be more than 5,200 athletes, 800 officials, and 7,000 committees, including match devices, referees, medical teams, security, and so forth. Five sports and two arts will be contested in this event.
