Six Terminals Ready to Serve Residents During Christmas and New Year Holidays

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has prepared six bus terminals to serve residents who will take a vacation during Christmas and New Year holidays. Those six terminals consist of four main terminals and three backup terminals.

Dishub's Public Transportation Management Unit (UPTAJ) Head, Syamsul Mirwan explained that the four main terminals are Kampung Rambutan, Kalideres, Pulogebang, and Tanjung Priok. While the three backup terminals are Muara Angke, Lebak Bulus, and Grogol.
"Backup terminal is a mitigation measure to solve the density of passengers who will travel during Christmas and New Year holidays," he expressed, Tuesday (12/20).
City, TNI, and Police Intensify Coordination for Smooth Christmas and New YearHe added that integrated posts have also begun to be alerted at these terminals during the Christmas and New Year Transport period in synergy with the Health Agency, Narcotics Agency (BNNP), and National Army (TNI)/Police.
The post will serve checks on health conditions and booster vaccinations for travelers and AKAP bus crews, including a urine test for the bus crew.
"We also plan to use this post to conduct ramp checks for buses," he explained.
To tighten health protocol rules, hand sanitizers, masks, and PeduliLindungi templates had been provided at each terminal.
