197 Personnel Ready to Secure Christmas and New Year in East Jakarta

As many as 197 personnel of East Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency are ready to secure the Christmas and New Year celebrations. Together with other apparatuses, they will manage traffic at some spots prone to congestion.

Supervision and Control Division Head, Riki Erwinda said that from 197 personnel, 30 would be deployed to secure the Katolik Church, Keluarga Kudus Church (Rawamangun), HBKP Church (Rawamangun), Santo Antonius Church (Jatinegara), Santo Yoseph Church (Matraman), and Koinoia Church (Jatinegara).
"Personnel are divided into two shifts. They will join army (TNI), police, Satpol PP, and so on," he expressed, Saturday (12/24).
Heru Hopes Christmas Carol Fosters Spirit of Tolerance and Togetherness112 other personnel would be deployed to TMII area, starting from intersections of Garuda Traffic Light, Tamini Square to Jalan Mabes TNI. They were divided into two shifts to smoothen the New Year's Eve.
Then five others would be on standby in Old Shanghai area, Cakung Barat, Cakung. They were assigned to guard several intersections of road access to Pecinan area.
"We have also prepared five towing trucks to anticipate car breakdowns, illegal parking which triggers congestion, and so on," he expressed.
Those five towing cars would be placed in intersection of Garuda, Gate 1 and 3 of TMII, under Ceger Toll Road, and in front of Cipapyung Police Headquarters.
Then the last securing the area was in 10 sub-districts. Five personnel were deployed in each sub-district.
