Community Band Performance Enlivens New Year's Eve in Kota Tua

The Kota Tua area will operate until 1 AM. It will be even more lively because there will be performances from the Kota Tua community

Welcoming the new year 2023, the Jakarta Provincial Government is holding various events that are spread to the city level. One of them is in Kota Tua area.

Kota Tua Technical Unit Head, Dedy Tarmizi said that the historic tourist area which was built in the Dutch Colonial era operates by policies from the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency.

According to him, in Kota Tua, there would be four small stages that would be enlivened by music bands from the Kota Tua community.

"The Kota Tua area will operate until 1 AM. It will be even more lively because there will be performances from the Kota Tua community," he said, Saturday (31/12).

The Kota Tua management also urged visitors to maintain cleanliness, as 50 sorting trash bins have been provided plus plastic polybags.

"We have 53 janitors to patrol outside and inside the Kota Tua. We also get assistance from Urban Village PPSU," he explained.

Especially for visitors who use private vehicles can park their vehicles at Kota Intan Park.

"The park is able to accommodate around 90 cars and 500 motorcycles, but we also urge visitors to use public transportation," he concluded.
