MRT Jakarta Extends its Service Operations

This special service operational pattern only applies on New Year's Eve

Towards the celebration of the New Year's Eve 2023 Festival, PT MRT Jakarta is extending its service operations, on December 31.

PT MRT Jakarta's Corporate Secretary Division Head, Ahmad Pratomo said on December 31 to January 1, the MRT operating hours will operate from 6 AM to 2 AM with headway hitting 10 minutes. Changes between train departure times from 12 AM to 1 AM every five minutes.

LRT Jakarta to Operate Until 2 AM During New Year's Eve

He added the last train from Lebak Bulus Grab Station to Bundaran HI Station is until 1.14 AM. On the other hand, from Bundaran HI Station to Lebak Bulus Grab Station, the last train is at 1.31 AM.

"This special service operational pattern only applies on New Year's Eve," he said in a press release, Friday (12/30).

He explained that the change in the operating pattern was a follow-up to Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head's Decree Number e-2229/PH.10.00 on Assignments to PT MRT Jakarta and PT LRT Jakarta for Railway Services Supporting the New Year's Eve 2023 Festival.

Then for the next day, it will return to using the normal operational schedule, namely Monday - Friday from 5 AM to 11 PM with headway hitting five minutes during busy times (7 AM - 9 AM and 5 PM 7 PM), and Saturday - Sunday from 6 AM to 11 PM with headway hitting 10 minutes.
