LRT Jakarta to Operate Until 2 AM During New Year's Eve

Jakarta residents and its surrounding areas don't need to worry about traveling during the New Year's Eve celebration later.
Besides Transjakarta, the Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared the LRT Jakarta whose operating hours have been extended until 2 AM.
Welcoming New Year 2023, City Has Various Events at Some PointsPT LRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head, Sheila Indira Maharshi said that the additional operational hours' service is based on the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head's Decree Number e-2229/PH.10.00 on Assignments to Jakarta Integrated Raya Moda Limited Liability Company and Jakarta Integrated Lintas Raya Limited Liability Company.
The decree regulates the provision of rail services to support the Jakarta Lively 2023 New Year's Eve Festival, the Gelorakan Kekuatan ASEAN 2023.

He explained the additional hours of operational service would take effect on December 31 until 2 AM, which is the Jakarta Government's support in celebrating New Year's Eve 2023.
It applies to all LRT Jakarta routes starting from Pegangsaan Dua Station - Kelapa Gading Station to Velodrome Station - Rawamangun Station with a total of 42 trips.
Here are the LRT operating hours on December 31 from 5:30 AM to January 1 at 2 AM:
- Trains will resume running on a regular schedule at 5:30 AM
- Headway time every 10 minutes
- Passenger carrying capacity reaches 270 passengers in train cars
Meanwhile, in order to enliven Christmas and New Year celebrations, the LRT also presents various activations at stations that can be enjoyed as a year-end holiday option. They are LRTJ Year End Music, Free Cotton Candy Happy Sweet Christmas for its customers.
Including the Carnival Games which will take place from December 29, 2022 to January 1, 2023 at Velodrome Station and LRT Jakarta Boulevard Utara Station.
