Want to Enjoy Muda Mudi Festival? Public Transportation is Best Option

For those of you who use public transportation to go to Muda Mudi Festival (Youngster Night) ahead of New Year's Eve, you don't need to worry, as the Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared public transportation until the early hours of the morning, such as Transjakarta bus, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta.

This special service operational pattern only applies on New Year's Eve

According to Syafrin Liputo, Agency Head of Jakarta Transportation (Dishub), Transjakarta buses will fully operate in 13 existing corridors with 95 units and also other additional routes that connect New Year's Eve celebration centers with 13 corridors that operate 24 hours.

"While for MRT service, from Lebak Bulus to Bundaran HI which is usually operational until 11 PM will operate until 2 AM on January 1, 2023," he expressed, in the special program of Beritajakarta.id, Live Report for New Year 2023, in Bundaran HI, Saturday (12/31) morning.

Likewise, with New Year's Eve celebrations in the north, or in Kelapa Gading and its surroundings, the LRT Jakarta service will also be operational until 2 AM on January 1, 2023.

PT MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head, Ahmad Pratomo stated that on December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023, the MRT operating hours will operate from 6 AM to 2 AM with headway hitting 10 minutes. Changes between train departure times from 12 AM to 1 AM every five minutes.

He added the last train from Lebak Bulus Grab Station to Bundaran HI Station is until 1.14 AM. On the other hand, from Bundaran HI Station to Lebak Bulus Grab Station, the last train is at 1.31 AM.

"This special service operational pattern only applies on New Year's Eve," he said in a press release.
