Here are 40 Parking Locations Along Sudirman-Thamrin on New Year's Eve

The Jakarta Provincial Government will hold a Car Free Night (CFN) for Malam Muda Mudi Festival (Youngters Night) along Jalan Jenderal Sudirman - Jalan MH Thamrin, Saturday (12/31) from 8 PM to Sunday (1/1) at 2 PM.

In total, these parking pockets can accommodate 32,000 of cars and 24,000 motorcycles

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head, Syafrin Liputo said that as many as 40 parking pockets had been prepared for visitors along Jalab Jenderal Sudirman to Jalan MH Thamrin during CFN.

"In total, these parking pockets can accommodate 32,000 of cars and 24,000 motorcycles. While around 300 parking space units are for bus parking services and the rest are for cyclists," he expressed, in the special program of beritajakarta.id, Live Report for New Year 2023, in Bundaran HI area, Saturday (12/31) morning.

To avoid congestion when heading to the parking location, he urged the public to implement the park-and-ride principle. Those coming from the east can park using the park and ride facilities at the Cililitan Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and continue their trip by Transjakarta bus to Bundaran HI or another intended location.

"Or those who want to continue their trip with the MRT, can park at the Lebak Bulus park-and-ride and can continue to the HI Roundabout location, for example with MRT service," he said.
