New Year's Eve at Setu Babakan will Present Dangdut Artist Cici Paramida

The event will begin from 1 PM to 1 AM

The New Year's Eve celebration in the Setu Babakan area, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta will be enlivened by the performance of a dangdut artist, Cici Paramida.

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin said New Year's Eve celebrations in his area were centered in Setu Babakan area. Even, the same event would also be held in each sub-district.

"Everything has been brought together with cross-sectors. Hopefully, it goes well," he expressed, Saturday (12/31).

South Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf) Head, Rus Suharto explained that there would be various entertainment programs, starting from the performance of traditional Betawi music, Rebana Biang, Jitu, and Jibros Band.

"There are also performances of traditional Betawi music called Gambang Kromong Hj. Tonah, Gambus Aromania, Ratna Listy & Friends, and so on," he continued.

He added the celebration would be even more lively with performances from art galleries, welcome dances, Betawi keroncong music to palang pintu (a door-bolting tradition).

"We also involve MSMEs here. The event will begin from 1 PM to 1 AM," he explained.

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency's Supervision and Control Division Head, Made Joni added that around 30 personnel would be alerted to support smooth traffic. They will be divided into two shifts and get support from Satpol PP, army (TNI, and police in the field.

"We also have a towing car in anticipation of vehicles breaking down and illegal parking," he stated.
