Attendance Rate of Jakarta Provincial Government's Civil Servants is Above 95 Percent

The attendance rate for the Jakarta Provincial Government's State Civil Apparatus (ASN) employees in early 2023 will reach more than 95 percent.

Now, they can't cheat, as they have used fingerprints for attendance

Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD) Head, Maria Qibtya said that the presence of Jakarta Provincial Government employees was quite satisfactory. The majority attended because there was no joint leave at the start of the new year 2023.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the employee attendance rate is very good. Incidentally, the New Year's holiday falls on a Sunday, so nothing is different," she expressed.

She explained the number of employees is about 54,717, with a total attendance of 95.99 percent or 52,523 people. Employees who were absent due to permits, leave, illness, outside services, technical difficulties, and shifts off were around 3.33 percent or 1,820 people.

"The number of employees who were absent without explanation was around 0.68 percent or 374 people. We will immediately verify this number to the regional apparatus to ensure it is correct," he expressed.

She added employees are currently aware of their absence because it will affect the additional employee income (TPP) they earn.

"Now, they can't cheat, as they have used fingerprints for attendance, so their presence can be immediately detected," she said.
