As for the information, the Jakarta Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) issued Circular Letter number e-0025/SE/2022 regarding the postponement of annual leave during the rainy season.
The letter, which was signed on October 20, 2022, is a follow-up to the directives of the Acting Governor and takes into account the Jakarta BPBD Letter number 2291/-1,781 regarding the Appeal for Preparedness for the Rainy Season.
In the circular letter, the heads of regional apparatus/bureaus of the Jakarta Regional Secretariat who handle disaster risk during the rainy season should postpone the implementation of annual leave.
The next point instructs mayors, deputy mayors, regents, deputy regents, city/district secretaries, sub-districts and urban village heads, and regional working unit (UKPD) heads involved in disaster risk management to postpone the implementation of annual leave during the rainy season.
The postponement of annual leave is implemented until February 2022. Aside that, the postponement of annual leave during the rainy season did not remove the entitlement to annual leave and could be used the following year by the provisions of the legislation regarding ASN leave.
