PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director, Pamrihadi Wiraryo said that he had conducted socialization with rice traders at the Cipinang Rice Main Market (PIBC) in discussing the continued distribution of medium rice through the Food Supply and Price Stabilization Program (SPHP).
"Since October 2022 until now, the Food Station keeps communicating with Perum Bulog in order to maintain supply availability and stabilize medium rice prices. This week, Bulog will distribute 2,000 tons of medium rice per day through PIBC," he said, Tuesday (1/31).

Eventually, price banners will be mounted in each shop, with the target selling price for people in the derivatives market to be Rp 9,300 per kilogram. Previously, traders were also given a warning that anyone selling rice above the HET would be subject to sanctions.
"We remind them not to seek big profits from the current market conditions. They are asked to make a statement in which there will be sanctions if they sell at a price that has been set," he explained.
In the meantime, Sardjono from the Food Task Force confirmed that monitoring would be intensified in the field together with the regional and local police.
"Supervision of Supply Availability and Price Stabilization (KPSH) at PIBC is aimed to ensure that the state is present to help people get rice with good quality and affordable prices," he stated.
