Jakarta DPRD Approves 2023 APBD by Rp 83.78 TrillionJakarta Council's legislative body (Bapemperda) Member, Abdul Aziz Muslim revealed that PT Jamkrida Perseroda had two strategic roles.
The first is to strengthen the macroeconomic structure of the region and as a safety anchor for local government programs to strengthen access. Then the second is to support the capital structure of micro, small, and medium enterprises, as well as cooperatives, thus it runs and is channeled properly.
Thus far, PT Jamkrida Jakarta has guaranteed 3,520,536 MSMEs and cooperatives with a total guarantee value of more than Rp 22 trillion.
"If you look at the regulations of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), they have reached the limit, thus additional authorized capital is required of Rp 1.6 trillion," he uttered.
He hoped that the changes to the draft bylaws could improve the ability of the business world to strengthen capacity, including expanding access to capital to increase regional economic growth and income.
"Hopefully, the change in legal form and the additional capital will help MSMEs and cooperatives in guaranteeing to finance," he stated.
