379,589 People Have Received Second Booster Shots

From July 29, 2022 to Tuesday (2/14), it has been recorded that 379,589 people consisting of the general public, seniors, health workers, and public officers have received the second booster vaccine (fourth dose).

Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) Head, Widyastuti expressed the Jakarta Provincial Government issued a policy in the form of Governor's Instruction Number 26/2022 on Acceleration of Covid-19 Vaccination in the context of accelerating the second booster vaccination in Jakarta.

"Sub-district and urban village heads were also instructed to mobilize residents to take booster shots, as well as to check again and ensure that all residents in their working areas have received the full dose of vaccination, especially the elderly and other vulnerable groups," she said.

3,720 Residents in Central Jakarta Take 2nd Booster Shot

To see the achievement of the target of the second booster shot, the Social Affairs Bureau started from Jakarta Government employees, both ASNs and PJLPs in five city areas.

According to her, the Social Welfare Bureau had conducted monitoring and evaluation (Monev) of booster vaccinations within the Jakarta Government which had been carried out on February 3, 2023 in several locations. It is to ensure the target of achieving a vaccine by March 31, 2023 is at least 70 percent in each sub-district.

"This booster is important to boost our antibodies and kill viruses inside our bodies," she concluded.
