"For those of you who are not yet complete with the vaccine, we urge you to complete the vaccination soon. Even residents aged 60 and over can now receive the fourth dose of Covid-19 vaccination or the second booster. Based on the task force circular letter, there is no need to do antigen and PCR as long as the vaccine is complete for domestic travel," she explained.

As an early detection measure, she urged residents with symptoms of cough, runny nose, fever, or sore throat should immediately carry out an antigen/PCR test which can be done free of charge at all sub-district health centers in Jakarta.

According to her, vigilance against Covid-19 needs to be maintained, especially for those aged 40 and over or those who have comorbid illnesses, as they are at greater risk of experiencing severe symptoms if infected.

Residents who take homecoming during the Christmas holidays are encouraged to take non-communicable disease health checks and Covid-19 vaccinations for free at the Jakarta intercity terminal, which is open from 10 AM to 3 PM, from December 19, 2022 to January 3, 2023.

Several terminals opened for examination and vaccination sites include the Pulogebang Bus Terminal (Building C, 2nd floor, in front of the clinic), Kalideres Bus Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal, and Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal (2nd Floor).

“Free check-up for blood pressure, blood sugar, abdominal circumference, weight, height, and other non-communicable disease risk factors. Specifically for the driver, a balance test and urine test will be carried out," she concluded.
