The Jakarta Health Agency is about to hold the 2nd or 4th Covid-19 booster dose shot for ASNs under Jakarta Provincial Government and residents aged 18th and over.

The distance between the Covid vaccine after recovering from Covid is at least one month

This booster will be held in the front of the City Hall office, Seribu Islands Regency Office (Mitra Praja Building in Tanjung Priok), and mayor offices in five administartive cities. It is slated from Tuesday (1/24) to Friday (1/27), at around 1 PM to 3 PM.

Epidemiology and Immunization Surveillance Division Head, Ngabila Salama said the vaccines provided are Pfizer and Zifivax. Residents can come directly to the location and apply for KTPs throughout Indonesia.

For ages 18th and over, the distance between the 2nd and 3rd doses of vaccine is three months. Meanwhile, the distance between the 3rd and 4th doses of vaccine is six months.

"The distance between the Covid vaccine after recovering from Covid is at least one month. The distance between the Covid vaccine and any other vaccine brands, including meningitis, for children's immunization is at least 14 days," she expressed, Monday (1/23).

She added boosters at these locations can also serve doses 1st and 2nd for ages 12nd and over. While doses 3rd and 4th are only for ages 18th and over.

"Vaccines have proven to be very effective in preventing death and long Covid due to Covid-19 infection," she added.
