A number of flyovers are scheduled to be built at the railway crossings and crossroads this year in order to minimize traffic accidents. As the initial phase, the construction will be centered in Permata Hijau area, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.
And the second phase, it would be built throughout railway crossings and crossroads gradually.

Suwondo added that Permata Hijau was opted because its location prone to traffic accident and congestion. The project itself has involved three contractor companies and spent Rp 131 billion with a target completion of one year.
In future, such project was also slated to be done in Cipinang Lontar, Bintaro, Jalan Panjang, and Jalan Raya Tanjung Barat which will be managed by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing.
