West Jakarta Continues to Intensify Tree Planting

The West Jakarta administration keeps intensifying efforts to arrange the area with greening.

We also always invite residents to plant trees

West Jakarta City Secretary, Iin Mutmainah said that her party continued to intensify tree planting in West Jakarta according to the Acting Governor's direction to carry out regional planning, one of which was by planting lots of trees.

"In West Jakarta, there are about 56 urban villages, where each must plant around 10 trees every day. If it is done, there will be 560 trees every day," she expressed, Friday (3/17).

Since the regional planning program was initiated by Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, she added, up to now around 41,000 trees have been planted in West Jakarta.

"For productive trees, the results can later be used or enjoyed by residents. We also always invite residents to plant trees,” she stated.
