12 Koridor Transjakarta Terapkan E-Ticketing

E-Ticketing Applied in All Transjakarta Corridors

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) officially launched e-ticketing system in all 12 Transjakarta bus corridors. The inauguration of this sytem was held in Manggarai Busway Stop, Saturday (2/21).

By the implementation of e-ticketing in corridor IV and VI, all 12 Transjakarta corridors have applied 100 percent of e-ticketing system

PT Transjakarta Managing Director, Antonius NS Kosasih said, e-ticketing system has started in all busway corridors since August 1, 2014.

"By the implementation of e-ticketing in corridor IV and VI, all 12 Transjakarta corridors have applied 100 percent of e-ticketing system," said Kosasih in sidelines of 100 percent e-ticketing inauguration, Saturday (2/12).

High Cost, Concrete Layer Not Applied Throughout the Road

Kosasih added, corridor IV and VI are the last corridors that applied the e-ticketing system.

"These two are the last corridor to apply e-ticketing after 10 other Transjakarta corridors," he added.

PT Transjakarta, Kosasih continued, also has socialized the 100 percent e-ticketing application through mass and social media in PT Transjakarta official accounts as @ PT_Transjakarta and facebook Transjakarta Busway and website at www.transjakarta.co.id.

"The socialization is aimed to inform citizens about the e-ticketing application," he continued.

Kosasih revealed, to use the e-ticket, the passengers only need to tap their card on the scanner machine that located in front of Transjakarta bus stop. Then, after the green light on, the passenger can immediately go inside without queue and buy the ticket at the counter.

"So they no need to be busy anymore to come inside. Furthermore, e-ticket can be obtained in Transjakarta counters or at bank branches that have partnered with Transjakarta," he said.

He added, his side will also add 52 Transjakarta buses branded Scania.

"We will also repair and expand the bus stop to facilitate the passenger and improve our service," he stated.

As information, starter pack for e-ticketing is worth about Rp 40,000 with Rp 20,000 in balance. But, the passenger is no need to buy the starter pack if they already have e-card such as Jakcard, eMoney, Flazz, Tapcash, Brizzi or Megacash.
