Collaborating with Supermarkets, Heru Ensures Meat Stocks for Residents are Fulfilled and Affordable

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono inspected meat stocks from Perumda Dharma Jaya at Transmart outlet, Kota Kasablanka Mall, South Jakarta.

He was accompanied by Perumda Dharna Jaya President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman and CT Corp Chairman, Chairul Tanjung.

According to him, efforts to cooperate with Transmart have helped Jakarta in realizing the availability of meat and stable prices, and can reach all the needs of residents. It also aims to control inflation in Jakarta.

"This time, we check the condition of counters from Dharma Jaya who put their products in Transmart. Thanks to Mr. Chairul Tanjung who is willing to help us at the Jakarta Provincial Government to stabilize meat prices, meat supply, and keep inflation under control," he expresed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Wednesday (3/22).

He explained Perumda Dharma Jaya continues to ensure the availability of meat supplies for Jakartans.

"This is what we are part of as children of the nation, thus Jakartans can enjoy their basic needs (especially meat). We provide affordable prices," he explained.

Perumda Dharma Jaya President Director, Raditya Endra Budiman added it is a new round for his party to sell to supermarkets such as Transmart. Hence, Dharma Jaya would continue to expand its reach and increase sales of the company's various products.

"By collaborating with Transmart supermarkets for the initial stage, we opened a butcher shop at Transmart outlets located at Kota Kasablanka Mall and Central Park Mall. We're sure that meat sales will increase and the people's meat needs will be properly met. The types of meat we sell are fresh and maintained with high quality standards, starting from the process of selecting live cattle and beef, to packaging with food industry standards," he explained.

CT Corp Chairman, Chairul Tanjung also expressed his appreciation to the Jakarta Government for choosing Transmart as a partner to stabilize food prices. Hopefully, the synergy with Dharma Jaya would create a solid partnership in supplying good quality beef at affordable prices.

"The important thing for us is that Dharma Jaya guarantees that it will consistently supply fresh meat to residents in Jakarta. Then, this is also able to maintain price stability, so that later there will be a better ecosystem in terms of inflation. We work together for the good and happiness of Jakartans," he uttered.

As for the information, the price of the meat being sold is very affordable, including Dharma Jaya (DJ) rendang family pack product, priced at Rp 108,900/kg, DJ special rendang at Rp 149,000/kg, DJ shabu meat at Rp 52,000/500 gram, DJ frozen liver pack at Rp 34,500/kg, and DJ beef shank at Rp 169,000/kg. In addition, residents can shop directly at Dharma Jaya butcher shops which are spread across Jakarta, such as on Jalan Penggilingan, Cakung, East Jakarta; Jalan H Aseni, Semanan, Kalideres, West Jakarta; and Jalan Kembang Kerep, Kembangan Selatan, West Jakarta.
