Incomplete Requirement, Tens of Tanah Pasir Flat Occupants Can't Process ID Card

Tens of Tanah Pasir Flat occupants, Penjaringan Urban Village, North Jakarta, who want to mutate the population administration in accordance with their domicile are rejected by the mobile ID card service officers from local Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department. This is because, those occupants cannot show the flat's lease agreement letter.

"The mutating is part of a flat policing program. Using the corresponding ID card domicile, the flat occupant will make the DKI bank's account to pay the rental cost," said Head of North Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department, Mohammad Hatta, Sunday (2/22).

Hatta expressed, since last January, the service already opened three times in the flat. Previously, his sub-department had served 360 people. On Saturday (21/2), there were only 25 people because a few people cannot show up the flat's lease agreement.

As known, the flat that built at RW 06 and 10 Penjaringan Urban Village, has 17 blocks with 1,780 units. Of the 17 blocks, some are located at RW 10 with 192 units and nearly occupant has the letter.

As for the other 15 blocks at RW 06 with 1,500 units, majority of them are still in letter renewal process. But until this month, only 100 letters have been signed.

"Last January, as many as 1,000 documents were already proposed to Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings Department. But until now, they only signed 100 documents," said Budianto Gunawan, one of RW 06 officers.

When being confirmed separately, Head of UPRS Region 1 for Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings Department, Marwiyanti disclosed that the delay in renewal process is due to incomplete requirement.

"We have to do verification. For instance, someone gets the flat from his/her relative yet the receiver should be able to present the giver, thus we can sign the letter," she asserted.

Such verification, she assessed, aims to avoid illegal transaction. If the requirement is still incomplete in March, we will give strict sanction.
