Many Marunda Flat Occupants Have Not Mutated Their ID Cards

As many as 241 households who live in Marunda Flat, Cilincing, North Jakarta, are threatened to be expelled. The reason is because until now they still have not mutated their identity cards (KTP) according to their domicile.

Based on North Jakarta Population and Civil Registry Sub-Department data, there are 5,345 people occupy three clusters of Marunda Flat. From that amount, 800 people or 241 households have not mutated their ID cards.
“Most of them originated from relocation program of Pluit Reservoir, Penjaringan. We urge them to immediately conduct population mutation in accordance to domicile,” stated Head of North Jakarta North Jakarta Population and Civil Registry Sub-Department, Edison Sianturi, Thursday (10/23).
Marunda Flat Broker ArrestedAccording to Sianturi, those 241 households are spread in Cluster A (106 households), Cluster B (53 households), and Cluster C (52 households). For those who are going to conduct population mutation, his department has prepared special location besides in the urban village office.
“We give dateline until this December (for them) to process it,” he told.
Meanwhile, Head of Area 1 Flat Management Unit (UPRS), Maharyadi, said that according to the rule, the people living in flats must mutate their ID cards in accordance to domicile.
“The rule is like that. We give them time until this end of year. If they haven’t changed their population administration until next year, we will act firmly and could probably takeover their (flat) units,” he uttered.
