E-ID Card Service Opened in City Council

The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department is opening an e-ID card service on the spot for Jakarta residents. As the initial phase, the prime service in the area of Jakarta City Council (DPRD) building, Jalan Kebon Sirih, Gambir, Central Jakarta, will be held over two days, precisely from Monday (2/16) until Tuesday (2/17).

"We open the service in the City Council building over two days," said Head of Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department, Edison Sianturi, Monday (2/16).

Sianturi disclosed besides employees, the service is also open for the public, especially those living in around Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta. "This is also to serve locals and employees under Jakarta Provincial Government," he told.

E-ID Card Printing Auhtority Given to Regional Government

He uttered, it is opened for eight hours or at 8 AM-4 PM. The requirement that must be met to process the e-ID card is the applicant must bring the Family Card and the old ID card.

"The applicant will undergo the data recording here and directly receive e-ID card today," he uttered.
