Jakarta Satpol PP Seizes 1,627 Liquor Bottles from March 10 to 25

The Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) has confiscated 1,627 bottles of liquor in a series of raids carried out from March 10 to 25, 2023 across the five municipalities in Jakarta.

This action is a routine agend during Ramadan

According to Arifin, Head of Jakarta Satpol PP, the liquor bottles seized were sold illegally in 40 locations. Among them were Central Jakarta (one location), North Jakarta (11 locations), West Jakarta (15 locations), South Jakarta (six locations), and East Jakarta (seven locations).

"This action is a routine agenda during Ramadan," he expressed, Monday (3/27).

560 Bottles of Illegal Alcohol in Tambora Confiscated

Those liquor bottles were netted from Tambora Sub-district (561 bottles), North Jakarta (171 bottles), and Kelapa Gading Sub-district (130 bottles).

"We continue to carry out similar raids in order to create safe and peaceful conditions for residents during the fasting month," he stated.
