Transjakarta Lane Guardrail in Senen will Be Repaired Shortly

Repairs will be carried out in the third quarter

The Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency is about to soon repair the guardrail for Transjakarta bus lane on Jalan Pasar Senen, Senen.

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Wildan Anwar said repairs to the guardrail at the site would be executed this year because it had been budgeted for.

"We have proposed a budget of Rp 500 million for repairs along 500 meters. Repairs will be carried out in the third quarter," he expressed, Wednesday (3/29).

According to him, the damage to the Transjakarta guardrail was caused by the ignorant actions of irresponsible individuals. Therefore, in the later repairs, his party would install fences with stronger concrete.

"The concrete is hardened again. We will add anchors, thus isn't easily damaged by ignorant people," he said.

Senen Sub-district City Council, Sanusi hoped that the damaged Transjakarta guardrail on Jalan Pasar Senen could be repaired soon.

"Many of the Transjakarta lane guardrails are damaged and missing," he added.

If it continues to be damaged, the Transjakarta lane guardrail at the location could endanger road users.

"If it is ignored, it will endanger people crossing," he stated.
