City Can't Provides PNS Allowance

Until now, 2015 City Budget has not been approved by Home Affairs Ministry. As a result, Regional Performance Allowance (TKD) static or dynamic cannot be given to Jakarta Civil Servant (PNS).

"We cannot give static or dynamic allowance if the budget has not been approved by the ministry," said Saefullah, Jakarta Secretary after joined leadership meeting (rapim) at City Hall, Monday (2/23).

However, Saefullah added, his side would continues to pay all allowance that included in Jakarta civil servant's salary.

"We only can give allowance as the wife allowance, children, and rice because we has proposed it in preceding budget. But we cannot give them other allowance to prevent problems. Please be patient," he added.

He revealed, his side also used the preceding budget to pay the outsourcing employee's salary as Office Boy (OB) and other.

"It depends on each provincial working unit (SKPD) that has the authority to use the funds and give the employee's salary on time," he said.

Saefullah said, his side already used 19 percent from 2015 City Budget for preceding budget. "All working units can use preceding budget as many as twelfth from the total budget," he said.

He also added, the civil servants will remain safe with their salary and allowance for now.

"If we add their salary and the allowance, each civil servant earns about Rp 5 million per month. I think it is enough. So please wait the c ity budget and we will give the allowance thereafter," he uttered.
